Adding people on Zenly allows you to build a map of the people that make up your world! You’ll see their live location so that you can decide if the crew is free to hang, or just know where the party is. Remember that you cannot view the live location of any user on Zenly without becoming friends with them first.

Add Friends Section

Head over to ‘Settings ⚙️’, tap ‘Add Friends’, and choose one of the following:

From Contacts

If you have contacts already on Zenly they’ll be shown first. your contacts not yet on Zenly are shown after. How about you invite them to join? Tapping the ‘invite’ button lets you send an invite link for Zenly via text to people in your contacts book. ☄️

By Username

If someone has shared their Zenly username with you, enter it here to send a friend request.

By Phone number

You can add a friend directly if you know their phone number. If the user is already on Zenly, they will instantly receive a request. Otherwise, you’ll be prompted to send them an invite via text message, email, etc. make sure the country code is correct!

By Bumping Phones

Hanging out with someone cool who is also on Zenly? You can become friends with them in the coolest way possible – just bump your phones to mutually send a friend request. 🤜🤛

Friends From Other Apps

Add friends through other apps you use, like Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, and more.

You Might Know Them

These are suggestions of people you may know who are already on Zenly. Just tap ‘add’ to send an invite or tap x to remove the suggestion permanently. You’ll only see this section if we have suggestions for you. 🤠

Friends of Friends

Go to your friend’s profile to view their friends. people you can invite will have ‘add’ next to their name. In some cases you won’t be able to add someone, for example if that person is on private mode, or if they’ve blocked you.
