Your position isn’t updating correctly on your OPPO phone? 😭 Maybe your friends only see your real-time location when you have Zenly open? 😱 If so, there’s a good chance that battery-saving settings are enabled on your device, preventing Zenly from running in the background.
Prevent Zenly from being forced closed by the task manager
From the home screen, click the lower-left square menu icon to enter the multitasking interface. Find the Zenly screen and drag it down Zenly until a lock icon appears (pictured below). When enabled, Zenly will not be forced closed when you click the "X" (shown below) to clear memory.
Pro tip 💡: Don't force shut Zenly by swiping-up. Zenly won't be able to send your position or receive your friend's position.
If the above step doesn't resolve the problem, check the following:
Disable OPPO Energy Saver
Settings > Battery > Energy Saver > Zenly > Ensure the 3 options Background Freeze, Abnormal Apps Optimization and Doze are disabled.
Settings > Notifications & Status Bar > Manage Notifications > Zenly > Enable the option Allow Notifications.
OPPO Start-up Manager
Phone Manager > Privacy Permissions > Start-up Manager > Ensure Zenly is allowed to start when you turn on your phone.
