Like many other companies, we rely on third parties for some parts of our business. This page provides more information on the categories of business partners, the services they provide and the data we share with them. Naturally, we have agreements in place with all of our partners and require all of them to put in place strong technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. ❤️
In case you were wondering, why doesn’t Zenly provide the business names of our partners? We do this to protect your data, the security of our systems, and the security of our partners. As you can imagine, if we disclose all the names of our partners, that would make them more vulnerable to cyber-attacks.

Data usage note |
Cloud Platform: Computation and Storage ⛅️ |
We rely on cloud platforms to power zenly. cloud services allow us to scale our service, and enhance your experience when you use zenly. for example, it increases the speed of the app. |
Our cloud platform is the heart of zenly. It is where we store, process and store data for all of our users (see our privacy policy for details). Because it’s the heart of our service, we have strong protections in place. |
Bug detection 🐜 |
Some partners assist us with detecting bugs and technical issues within the app. While we analyse bugs and fix them, the software provides the framework to complete these tasks. |
Most of the data we share with these partners is technical data, and not personal data, but in some cases, we may share limited information to help debug certain problems. |
Map 🗺 |
We partner with map providers to power the map and related map features. This includes the map you see when you open Zenly, as well as map integrations such as the weather or directions. |
The map providers receive very little information, most of them actually don’t receive any Zenly user data at all. In some cases, these providers may receive an IP address or a broad location indication (e.g. an area code). |
SMS providers 💬 |
SMS providers assist us with the onboarding flow, and we use them to send you one time passwords. These passwords protect your account and allow for a super easy onboarding experience. We work with a variety of SMS providers in different regions. For example, if you’re in Asia we may use an Asian SMS provider, a European provider in Europe and so on. |
We only share your phone number with these providers, and providers only use the phone number to send you the one time password via SMS. Your phone number is not used for any other purposes. |
Analytics 📊 |
We partner with analytics providers who assist us with providing trends on how Zenly works and provide information on A/B tests. A/B tests allow us to show different versions of the Zenly app to different users. Based on the results, we can see which version works best, and provide all users with the best possible experience! |
We don’t share personal data with analytics providers. These partners only receive non-identifiable information that we use to analyze our services that help assess trends. |
Marketing 💌 |
We show Zenly ads on various social media platforms. Our marketing providers help measure how effective our online advertisements are. This helps us improve our ads and make them more engaging! |
We share very limited personal data with marketing partners, because we are not interested in how specific users engage with ads, but are more interested in analyzing trends. |
Support 👩💻 |
Our support provider provides the software that helps us respond to your questions, create efficient workflows, translation services, and more, so that you receive a response from us as quickly as possible. |
The support service provider processes the data necessary to respond to customer care tickets. |
Internal tools and software 🏠 |
We use some internal tools and software to create documents, chat, video conference and work together. These tools are not used to process user data, but - on occasion - some user data may be processed. |
Any user data that is processed via internal tools is subject to our data security policies and measures. |
