Your location isn't updating correctly? Maybe your friends only see your real-time location when you have Zenly open? If so, it sounds like battery/data-saving settings are enabled on your device, preventing Zenly from running correctly in the background.
Run through the following steps to ensure that battery-saving settings are disabled. The wording of the settings below can differ slightly depending on your device, so keep your eyes peeled for anything similar! 👀
Disable Battery Optimizers
‘Additional settings' > 'Battery & performance' > 'Manage apps battery usage' > 'Choose apps' > 'Zenly' > ensure under 'Background settings' the option 'No restrictions' is set and under 'Background location' the option 'Allow' is set
'Power Saving Modes' > ensure the option 'Off' is set
Allow Zenly to Autostart
'Security' > 'Permissions' > 'Autostart' > ensure the option 'Zenly' is on
'Task management' > lock the app to prevent Zenly from being killed by cleanup background tasks
