So your friend’s location seems incorrect, eh? Here are some possible reasons why.
You have a low signal/no signal
You must have an active connection—either WiFi or 3G/4G and ideally a strong GPS signal—for Zenly to send your friend’s location to your device.
Your friend has a low signal/no signal
Your friend must also have an active connection—again, either WiFi or 3G/4G and ideally a strong GPS signal—for Zenly to acquire their location and send it to your device.
Your friend has chosen not to share their real-time location
Zenly has a function known as Ghost Mode 👻, which gives users the option not to share their precise real-time location with their friends. If your friend enables the Frozen option, their location will no longer update. Please note that we cannot disable Ghost Mode if enabled by your friend. Only they can do so.
Your friend is no longer using Zenly 😞
If your friend has uninstalled Zenly, their location will no longer update.
Have you checked the above and still aren’t having any luck? Then maybe you should…
Ask your friend to verify their device settings
Your friend should ensure that none of their device settings are preventing Zenly from detecting and updating their location. Please refer your friend to the relevant troubleshooting article for iOS or Android.
