Enabling WiFi can greatly improve location accuracy even when not connected to an active WiFi network. Your device gathers information from WiFi points to pinpoint your current location.
Disable any Battery optimizers 🔋
If enabled, these settings can prevent Zenly from running in the background. Therefore, your friends will only see your real-time location when you have the app open.
These settings differ depending on your device but are usually found within the battery settings. Please select your device to see more detailed instructions.
Disable data saver/ data restriction
Verify that Zenly is exempt from the Data Saver as it requires access to data in order to send your position to your friends.
To verify, go to Settings > Connection > Data Usage > and ensure that the option Data Saver is off.
Ensure that Zenly has permission to access your location
Zenly will not be able to detect your location if you haven’t granted permission for it to do so.
To verify, go to Settings > Applications > Zenly > Permissions > and ensure that the option Location is enabled.
Enable location services & set location mode to High Accuracy
Ensure that location services are turned on and set Location Mode to "High accuracy"
Zenly will not be able to detect your location if location services are turned off. Verify by:
Open your Android device's Settings.
Tap on Location.
Verify that the option Location is set to On.
Verify that the option High accuracy is enabled.
Ensure that you have an active WiFi or 3G/4G connection

Ensure that Zenly is exempt from the auto-cleanup settings or third party auto-clean applications
Some third-party auto-cleanup applications can prevent Zenly from running. If you have downloaded any cache cleaning or memory cleaning apps. please verify that Zenly is exempt.
Ensure that Zenly is allowed to auto-start
Some devices have settings which exclude some applications from starting. The most common phones to have these applications are Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.
Please note, sometimes due to environmental factors such as having a low cellular signal and no WiFi signal, an accurate location won't be available.
