If someone is bothering you on Zenly, the best way to deal with them is to block them. A blocked user will no longer be able to send you friend invitations, view your Zenly friend list or contact you by private one-to-one chat conversation. It's important to note that current friends cannot be blocked and must be deleted first. Learn how to delete a friend.
There are three ways to block a user:
From a conversation in your inbox (if available)
1. Select the conversation with the user you want to block.
2. Swipe right to view the map pin of the user.
3. Tap their map pin to view the user's profile.
4. Tap the settings icon ⚙ located in the top right corner.
5. Choose the option "Block user."
From a friend invitation
The option to block a user from a friend invitation becomes available once the same user has sent you two or more friend invitations.
When reporting a user or chat message as being inappropriate
If you report a user or chat message for being inappropriate, you will be proposed with the option to block the offending user during the reporting process. Learn more about how to report a user or chat message.
No notifications are sent to users upon being blocked. However, they will be notified that you have blocked them if they try to send a friend invitation or contact you via private one-to-one chat.
You will still be contactable by blocked users if you are both members of any group chats. Learn how to quit group chats.
To unblock a user, access your profile page, tap on the settings icon in the top right corner, choose the option, blocked users, and select the user you wish to unblock.
